Maggie Parr is an artist and author who has designed theme park attractions, painted murals and portraits, and written and illustrated books and comics. She holds a Masters of Fine Arts (MFA), maintains a painting practice, and teaches classical oil painting techniques to students from all backgrounds. Expressionist artmaking helped her recover from decades of self-harming. As a result, she now coaches other creatives in their journeys to break through blocks and heal from trauma.
