I have found that studying these ancient tongues that my life and my writing have been truly enriched. I will continue to experiment- bringing ancient verse forms into contemporary poetry.

Autorenporträt
Tony Demarest received his PhD in Old English and Old Norse literatures from Fordham University in 1975. He served as English supervisor in the Nanuet School District in Rockland County from 1971-2002; he then became of professor of medieval English at Felician College for the next ten years; he has been publishing his poetry for the past 12 years.
