Flamur Vehapi is a writer, researcher, and poet from Kosova, where he was born and later exiled by the brutal Serbian regime in the late 1990s. After moving to the United States, he received his associate's degree from Rogue Community College in Medford, Oregon, and his bachelor's in psychology from Southern Oregon University with a minor in history. In 2013, he received his master's in conflict resolution from Portland State University. Later, he taught both at Rogue Community College and Southern Oregon University, and recently, he has been teaching in the Middle East. Vehapi was a regular contributor to the PSU Chronicles in Portland, Oregon. His books thus far include Sfidat Jetike (The Challenges of Life) published in 2002 in Albanian, and The Alchemy of Mind, published in 2008 in English, both of which are poetry volumes. His most recent work is Conflict Resolution in Islam.
