Marlene Burling is a widow. She was a pastor's wife. She has 3 married children, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Her writing began after the loss of her husband. She also developed a workshop titled, "There's Life after Loss" and is a leader of Grief Share in her church. She also has a weekly blog on her web site (marleneburling.com).God has used many experiences in her life including her losses, to be an encouragement to her readers. What began as a personal exercise to process her grief upon the death of her husband, to whom she was married for 51 years; took on a life of its own and resulted in the collection of two 365 daily devotional books ("Morning Walks with God" and "A Daily Walk with God") and a children's book, ("Grandma Tell Me the Easter Story")
