Autorenporträt
Macie was born in Muskegon, Michigan, moving to a small town in Texas called Dimmitt with her mother and younger sister. She went to Dimmitt Junior High School and Dimmitt High School, graduating in 1987. She left for the Military in November of that year. She did her basic training in Alabama, and military job training in Virginia. She left for her permanent tour of duty in Mannheim Germany in December of 1988. She finished her tour of duty in March 1991 moving to live in the Dallas/FortWorth Metroplex. While she raised two children and helped with two grandchildren, she started to write in 2006 just for fun.
