I never once thought about this until someone asked me if my writings were prose or poetry. Well, I believe them to be a little of each, a novelty if you will. After all, everyone is different. A few are soundly different, meaning they carry my own thoughts, feelings, past actual events, and all the while, are dotted with my psychological expressions. While serving in the military, I wrote Alexandria, The Tradition's Enemy and Symbols, among others. I've never been bound by any one ideological view, as you, the reader, will surely notice. I feel my little book (A Delighted Bat) will be a different read. It's like a jigsaw puzzle once you think a piece is missing, you find it.

Autorenporträt
My profound interest in writing came about when I was very, very young. I remember my "Mother" reciting nursery rhymes to me. It wasn't so much the story but the usage of the words I heard. I felt I had the most perfect parents. I only wish I had been a better son. They never complained. I grew up feeling that my decisions mattered. I quit school when I was sixteen years old and studied poetry under Dr. Selma Bishop. It was one of the most rewarding times in my life. I was the youngest member of our group, surrounded by years of vast knowledge and experience. I was so fortunate to call each of them "my friend." When I turned seventeen years old, I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. Years later I joined the U.S Navy. I found each branch fascinating and sometimes a little dangerous. I'm just like everyone else. "A Little Different" and my past is my (Muse)!
