This project tries to shed some light on the complexity of longlasting pain conditions and to address certain aspects in rehabilitation of these pain syndromes. Patients with chronic pain suffers on many areas of their daily life. In this study we investigated pain patients' pain intensity, quality of movement and cardiorespiratory fitness during a 6 week interdisciplinary pain management program. We also looked into the different interventions in this multidisciplinary program. It is apparent that further research on this matter is needed to optimalize treatment options and pain patients' quality of life.…mehr

Terese Brustad acquired her MSc physiotherapy at the faculty of Health Sciences, University of Oslo, Norway. She is now working as a physiotherapist at Østfoldbadet Friskhetssenter. She previously worked as a physiotherapist at Sunnaas Rehabilitation Hospital, OUS, Norway. Her research interests span across musculoskeletal pain and sports medicine
