This dictionary compares 1321 Anglo-American proverbs to 1650 Albanian correspondents, of which 362 are full equivalents and 1288 are partial ones. Meri Gjeluci-Guli attended English Studies at the Faculty of Philology, Tirana University, Albania. She is lecturer at Shkodra University ¿Luigj Gurakuqi¿. In 2006, she was awarded her PhD on linguistics at Karl-Franzens University in Austria. She is Head of the Department of English and American Studies at Shkodra University, Albania.
