Jim Halstead has served as an ordained pastor with the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA), and the Christian Reformed Church (CRC) and retired from the CRC with pastor emeritus status on July 19, 2020. He has been a special education teacher in Indiana for ten years and retired from the East Allen County Schools (Southwick Elementary School in Fort Wayne, Indiana) on May 21, 2021. He is the Founder of Go & Tell Ministries. He now serves full-time as a missionary with Go & Tell Ministries. He is licensed and ordained with the Midwest District C&MA as the "Discipleship Catalyst of The Alliance Midwest District" and is recommended to the fellowship of all evangelical Christians. He also holds his retired ordination license with the Christian Reformed Church and, as a retired minister, retains the title of minister of the Word and the authority conferred by the church to perform official acts of ministry.
