Autorenporträt
The author, the Rev John Keddie served pastorates in the Free Church of Scotland in Burghead, Morayshire (1987-1996) and Bracadale on the Isle of Skye (1997-2012). He was lecturer in Church History and Principles in the Seminary of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing) (from 2008 to 2019). Mr Keddie is the author of 'Preserving a Reformed Heritage' (2017), a history of the Free Church of Scotland in the 20th century. He also wrote a history of the division in the Free Church of Scotland (from which the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing) emerged in 2000) entitled 'A Divided Church' (2018). He has also produced popular biographies of the Olympic champion and missionary, Eric Liddell: 'Running the Race' (3rd edition, 2020), and 'Finish the Race' (for younger children, 2011).
