Autorenporträt
Alice Fogel is the poet laureate of New Hampshire. In addition to Strange Terrain (on how to appreciate poetry without necessarily "getting it"), she is the author of numerous poetry collections, including Interval: Poems Based on Bach's Goldberg Variations, which won the Nicholas Schaffner Award for Music in Literature, and Be That Empty, a national poetry bestseller. An eight-time Pushcart nominee and a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship, her poems appear in many journals and anthologies. She leads writing and reading workshops across the country, and works one on one with learning disabled students at Landmark College in Putney, VT.
