John Dooley is in this third career, now as an author. The first and longest was with the Boy Scouts of America. Fifty years in all, as a boy from the age of ten, then a volunteer leader, and finally as a Professional for twenty one years After retirement he and his wife opened an art gallery; he'd been a Sunday painter for many years. That career ended 15 years later when the gallery and the land it was on were converted to a small shopping plaza. Career number three began when Mr. Dooley was 83 years young and began writing and self-publishing his works of fiction. He is the author of two novels, a nonfiction guide book for writers and several short stories, all of which are available to the public at www.dooleytales.com. Mr. Dooley and his wife now reside in Burlington, Vermont
