After eleven and half years of service in the United States Army, and seven years after the passing of his son, Aaron, Jean-Paul began his career in the medical administrative field. It was during those seven years, coping with the death of his son, that Jean-Paul knew he wanted to make a difference and assist others from behind the scenes. He continues to serve our military members and their families as a Health Systems Specialist with the Defense Department Health Agency (DHA). Jean-Paul currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration along with a Master of Business Administration degree. He has been interviewed and published on the health.mil website supporting and discussing Pediatric Cancer treatment. Jean-Paul is also the sole operator of the blog site The Other C Word Cancer, where he discusses life challenges of being a parent with a child that had cancer, along with other topics.Jean-Paul resides with his spouse and two children, and dog Stella in Cache, Oklahoma.
