Christina Bryner is a children's book author and a mama of two boys. Being a second-generation Filipino-American, she has learned a lot from her mother who grew up in the Philippines. While reading to her own children, she often felt that Filipino representation was missing in children's literature. Her inspiration for writing A Filipino Christmas Wish is so that young children and their families can learn about Filipino culture in a fun and lighthearted way.
