Tom Garry has earned his living as a writer for almost half a century. His career has encompassed working as a reporter and editor on local newspapers, editing trade magazines and medical journals, serving as president of a medical communications company that he co-founded, and writing about topics ranging from politics and religion to money laundering and cancer. He and his wife, Sandy, are the parents of three grown children. They live in New Jersey.
