Today, he serves the Lord Jesus in the prayer room at church, gaining insight into God's Plan of Redemption as taught by Jesus when He spoke the Lord's Prayer. Autorenporträt
Elmo Pinard started writing before Kindergarten, "publishing" a neighborhood newspaper at home with a friend and a typewriter, selling it door-to-door for two cents. After a delinquent childhood, and receiving the Lord in faith, prayer and God's Word have led him to serve his small mountain community and his church as a lay minister and a teacher and leader of prayer meetings. Elmo wrote many of his own lessons and all of his sermons. He has also officiated at a number of memorial services. Having to live with and overcome the affects of ADD, Elmo learned to write everything down to facilitate remembering. Learning to focus on one main thing to be successful at it prevented completing college while working full time. Focusing on poetry, two of which have received awards, Elmo pursued a different career path until his recent retirement. Elmo is now speaking as an author.
