G. S. Rock lives with his family in northern Virginia, where he grew up and lived most of his life, except for a memorable five-year stint in The Netherlands. After a twenty-year career in IT management consulting, writing is one of his new pursuits. He also enjoys road trips, having logged over thirty-five thousand miles since 2007 and driven through all of the forty-eight contiguous states. The author is also an avid poker player, playing in dozens of tournaments each year.
