I was born in 1949 in San Jose, California, I was born to a German American mother and a Mexican Amercian father. But I was raised with an African American stepfather.I get my dyslexia from my mother's side of the family. And my half sisters and brothers have it too. And with my dyslexia, it was hard to be in school. Kids teased me and said I was retarded, and I got that all throughout my life. Then one day, my mind started creating stories out of my brain until I had this dream about dragons, so I started writing a story about it.
