H. Nicole Werkmeister lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her family and special needs dog. She became a lawyer in 1992, practicing primarily in the area of civil defense litigation for most of her career. She worked for law firms of all sizes, large, medium, and small, in addition to working in the public sector as a special prosecutor, hearing officer, and arbitrator presiding over municipal labor disputes, before starting her freelance law practice in 2012.
