Main features of this work are that its process selection criteria is based on the effect of the combination of more than one attributes and the use of fuzzy set theoretic techniques make it tolerant to imprecise and uncertain knowledge of parameters. Fundamental concepts, techniques, some basic scheduling algorithms and a brief review of the current literature, have been introduced in the beginning of the work to facilitate smooth onward reading.
