Amidst the sun-soaked vines of Provence, Elyse Belliveau's heart is torn between a new love and old promises. At fifty-eight years old, after tragically losing the man of her dreams, Elyse had resigned herself to a life without love. But when a friend confesses his love and a captivating stranger offers a second chance at happiness, Elyse's world is turned upside down. As the driving force behind her family's centuries-old winery, she finds herself torn between the risk of opening her heart again and the safety of remaining content with her family. But as tensions rise, Elyse must decide if it's ever too late to embrace love again. A Garden of Promises is the second book in the captivating Chateau de Belliveau Series. A heartwarming tale of love, loss, and new beginnings set in the beautiful South of France. Praise for the Chateau de Belliveau Series????? A Garden of Promises is a delightful read and it's nice to see a romance that is not about the heady ups and downs of young love. ????? I could not put this book down????? I really did escape to Provence reading this book????? A simple escapist romance????? Loved this fun, fresh take on the traditional romantic heroine????? Whether you are looking for a beach read, or a book to help you beat the January blues from some cold location, this book will be an excellent choice.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
I'm an author, humorist, work in education, and carry a license to drive anything on wheels (stilettoes and lipstick optional). I grew up and still reside on the family farm near Marshall, Saskatchewan, Canada. We raise Charolais cattle and gophers (the latter being purely coincidental). While the countryside is dear to my heart, my passion is to travel. Most recently, I've been writing sweet, destination romance. My first novel, in the Chateau de Belliveau series, called One Golden Summer, has been quite successful. Moonlight Over the Cinque Terre will follow in April 2023 and I'm feverishly tapping out volume three as we speak... Each book is set in an exotic destination we all would love to visit, allowing my readers an opportunity to escape to a fabulous region of Europe. There are twists and turns along the way that will keep you guessing, but always a happy ending. I have three cats since at least one is compulsory as any bonafide author will attest to, and am humorist for newspapers across the prairies. This offers me a unique opportunity to share whatever interesting, bizarre, or funny situation I may discover in the course of a week. Working with children each day also affords a wealth of humorous material. The best of these stories I've compiled into a series of books called "Prairie Wool" while others are published on my website helentoews.com. I also write YA fantasy. Since I was a child (hundreds of years ago) I loved reading, primarily fantasy. There was nothing so wonderful as escaping mundane life and finding myself in Middle Earth or Narnia with magical people and fantastic creatures. This translated into a lifelong desire to write those same sorts of tales. My debut series, Runestaff Chronicles, has allowed me to believe in that dream and my fondest wish is that you may find your escape there as well. Happy reading!
