A person who has wanted to travel, but has been unable to do so, will enjoy reading this book to experience vicariously the journey of the four women as they crossed the northeastern United States and Canada. Eula Woodyard McKown, a native of Humble, Texas, is a retired public school teacher. After graduating from high school, she joined the workforce for a year before attending Mary Hardin-Baylor College (now the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor) in Belton, Texas. After receiving her B.S. degree, she began her teaching career. Eula's work experience was varied and interesting; scattered among her 34+ years of teaching many subjects and grade levels were summers of various jobs through Manpower, Inc. and three years of working as an insurance adjuster. Throughout her adult life Eula has taken many diverse and interesting road trips. She enjoys reading, writing, photography, cooking, and crocheting in her spare time. Eula is active in her local church and enjoys activities with her adult son and her large, extended family. Her life as an identical twin has added to her many experiences throughout the years.
