Kim Barden is based in Brisbane, QLD, and lives in a world of words. Her first completed YA novel "The Gilded Mirror" was completed during NaNoWriMo (Entirely on a mobile phone.) Her first published work was in the Canberra Times for the devastating bushfires. Since then, she has participated in several writing challenges and courses such as, Catherine Deveneys 'Gunna's writing masterclass'. Her free time includes watching Sci-fi/Fantasy shows and colour coordinating her bookcase. Kim balances her full-time job with her love of writing and dreams of bringing magic into her readers lives.
