Autorenporträt
Just about all of his 87 years, Dr. Donaho has enjoyed writing various types of literature. Since his Mother loved to write poems and songs; she also enjoyed teaching him to write poetry, but songs escaped him. His poetry results from what he sees, feels, believes and observes. This collection shares with you, the reader, examples of those poems he enjoyed the most. He hopes you will especially enjoy A Golden Friendship (received a 4.5 of a 5.0 possible rating by well over one hundred reviewers), The Saga of Goose (a true event), A Wooden Bowl (an observed situation), Round and Round They Weave or poems to inspire such as Teach Me to Pray or A Poem to Seth. Dr. Donaho writes because he feels inspired to do so. Two major honors include being selected to Whos Who in International Poetry and being selected to edit, and expand the scope of The Philosophy of Jain translated by Kirit Gosalia, MD. This work is available worldwide and is used to teach young English speaking Jains to understand their religion. As you read the works in this collection you will understand why Dr. Donaho enjoyed teaching and directing great dramas by Gilbert and Sullivan, Shakespeare and many others. The author is humbled to share this collection with you.
