Ella Buchan is an experienced journalist and editor specialising in food and travel, and with a penchant for the darker things in life. Her writing has been published in the Times, National Geographic Traveller FOOD, the Independent and others, and she is currently editor of food features and recipes website, loveFOOD.com. Born in Newcastle upon Tyne and currently based on the coast just outside the city, she has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature – and a WSET level 3 (advanced) qualification in wines. A Gothic Cookbook project perfectly marries her passions for writing, literature and food, all in one deliciously dark package.
