This book is intended to serve as a guide to all professional educators of early childhood care and education. It has tried to explain the essence/importance of play in the emotional, cognitive, physical, moral/ spiritual and social development of the preschool child. It talks of the various ways/methods and approaches to teaching and learning of pupils. This book explains and brings out the importance of play in the holistic development of the preschool child.
