At present world wildlife are in greater threat due to human population explosion. So to protect them two interrelated things should be taken care, one is wildlife conservation and the other one is wildlife management. The human knowledge and awareness on ecological system can only protect them. Western Ghats of India is a home range to a large number of animals, plants, birds, and insects. It also includes many endangered species. Bhimashankar wildlife sanctuary is one of the 39 sanctuaries present in Western Ghats comprising of high diversity of flora and fauna.
