DR. PROF. MAHESH THAKUR is a veteran trainer and advisor in the coveted field of Social Work, HR and CSR with an experience of over 21 years in teaching and consulting. He is currently employed with Karve Institute of Social Service as In-Charge Director, faculty Social work, HRM and CSR & also as the Hon. Director for the Center of CSR and Center for Mental health and disability. He is the founder member of the CSR committee and disability board, Savitribai Phule Pune University. He is dexterous in developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating CSR and field action research projects and also has to his credit an accomplishment of 70 projects for the corporate houses pan Maharashtra and also in Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. He is CSR advisor for more than 15 corporate houses. The 60 villages adopted by Dr. Thakur are from tribal area and he has worked for the livelihood of the tribal community. Dr. Thakur holds a Ph.D. in Social Work. In last 5 years he has empowered 20 hearing impaired youth by starting "Creative People" NGO. Dr. Thakur is a certified trainer of Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs. In the year 2014 he was honored with the Excellence Award for the CSR education from Indo Global Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture. In 2019 he received "Kasturi award from Tata Chemicals Ltd.
