Institutional self-assessment is made possible through portfolio feedback. The Professional Development Instructor (PDI) acts as a facilitator who provides necessary guidelines and leadership to students on portfolio development. Students submit portfolios to the PDIs, at designated intervals of time after self-reflection. They are analysed, then relevant feedback is communicated to students, instructors, and the Quality Assurance Directorate (QAD). This book concludes with a call for incorporation of students¿ portfolios in quality assurance.
