It is estimated that the number of people suffering from Diabetes Mellitus in the world has increased from 30 million to 230 million over the past twenty years, and it is estimated that it will reach 350 million by 2050. Diabetes is the fourth leading cause death rates from illness in the world. Every 10 seconds, a diabetic patient dies, counting 3 million deaths per year worldwide. However, nearly half of the people with diabetes worldwide don't know they have diabetes. In some parts of Africa, more than 80% of patients are ignorant due to limited access to information and education. The author became interested in this subject during his practical experiences at the Ndop district hospital, he was surprised by the degree of suffering of these patients. So the question arose as to what can be done to help them no longer suffer in this way, although helping them to be able to take care of themselves.
