Kristi got the idea for this book while traveling the "Camino de Santiago" in Spain. She and her husband discovered many bookstores on their long walk. When they found a picture book they loved, they added it to one of their backpacks. As their backpacks got heavier, they got stronger, and the inspiration for "A Heart in the Sand" grew. Now Kristi works at Kaiser Permanente writing and acting in plays about children's health, and she teaches an after school Spanish class with Left Coast Power Yoga. She is a proud Mama of Bianca the dog and Baby Theo. Find out more about her work at www.kristionthewebb.com / Kristi tuvo la idea de este libro mientras realizaba el Camino de Santiago en España. Ella y su marido descubrieron muchas librerías en su largo viaje. Cuando encontraron un libro para niños que les encantaba, lo agregaron a una de sus mochilas. A medida que sus mochilas se hacían más pesadas, se hacían más fuertes, y la inspiración para "Un Corazón en la Arena" creció. Ahora Kristi trabaja en Kaiser Permanente escribiendo y actuando en obras de teatro sobre la salud de los niños, e imparte clases de español en Left Coast Power Yoga.
