A Hierarchical Value Map Approach in Cooperative Core Values identifies and defines the core values of school-based cooperatives in Cavite, Philippines using the Hierarchical Value Map (HVM) approach. The HVM is a graphical description of a laddering interview that is used to see the relationships between the attributes, consequences, and values of the respondents. It is a process map representing a process in a top-to bottom structure or "hierarchy." The core values represent basic underlying beliefs and behaviors of the members and leaders of cooperatives who are mutually responsible for the creation of a high performing management and governance.
