A historical methodology was employed as the work used a variety of sources, written and oral, which mandate the selection, collection, interpretation, presentation and evaluation of data as they relate to the history of Western education in Malumfashi town.

Shamsuddeen Bawale est né en 1989 dans le gouvernement local de Malumfashi, dans l'État de Katsina. Il a étudié à l'université Bayero de Kano, où il a obtenu une licence et une maîtrise d'histoire en 2015 et 2021 respectivement. Il est actuellement chargé de cours au département d'histoire et d'études internationales de l'université fédérale de Gashua, dans l'État de Yobe, au Nigeria.
