Missi Bowman graduated from Mary Baldwin College with a degree in sociology and worked in finance for twenty years. She became a caregiver to her father with Alzheimer's and her mother who had a stroke. Bowman lives in Maryland with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Little Man.
