Increasing incidence of asthma is of concern to public health. Analysis of this study revealed that awareness was lacking at all levels of prevention that is at all level. Undoubtedly single largest predictor of asthma patient survival is early diagnosis and diagnosis. Educational program should be developed to promote adherence to recommended screening guidelines. For the program to be effective, an educational campaign needs to be elaborated scientifically. They should be directed towards masses and education should be given. In the present research work, the motto was to develop knowledge about risk factors, warning signals and particularly screening of asthma was very poor and more so in lower educational community.
