Autorenporträt
Marina Flores is a poet, writer, and all around a queer kid. A marketing professional, Marina hones in on the best demographic she knows (herself), and while growing up in a small immigrant community, she expresses herself the only way she can, through writing. Marina developed her skills in poetry over the years, connecting and supporting the LGBTQIAP+, Chicanx, Immigrant, and POC communities. She and her twin sister were among the first in their family to pursue higher education, and both earned a Bachelors in Communication and a Minor in English. Marina's first publication came at the age of 25 and three more soon followed, all for poetry. Marina currently lives in the Los Angeles area with her partner, their dog, Roxy, and her extensive hat collection.
