THERE IS NOTHING MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN A PEACEFUL LIFE... THE TROUBLE WITH ME IS THAT I WANT IT ALL THE TIME, NOT JUST BRIEF SNATCHES. Based on a decade of personal growth and metamorphosis, Ercell Hoffman's inspirational journal reflects her long and tortuous search for happiness. The author's private thoughts, dreams, and impressions make for a powerful backdrop to the story of her commitment to change-her weight, her friendships, her love life, and especially her self-esteem-and her eventual goal of inner peace and contentment. As she becomes a more whole and complete person within herself, rather than always searching for outside fulfillment, her indomitable spirit shines, reminding us that adversity does not have to equal unhappiness.
