Teresita (Tess) Paje is a financial advisor and a member of a professional group called Kingdom Advisors, who seek to integrate biblical principles in their professions. She earned her undergraduate degree in accounting in the Philippines and her Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in financial management at San Diego. Tess also holds a Doctorate in Biblical Studies, with an emphasis in Biblical Leadership. Tess has been married for over forty years to Rey, a retired registered nurse, they are blessed with two children: Trisha, a graduate of the University of San Diego, and Karina, a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles.Tess wrote her first book, Accounting for Life: A Journey Heavenward, to illuminate timeless principles of the Bible that teach us to account to God for our words, thoughts, and deeds in all facets of life (spiritual, physical, emotional, and financial), thus maintaining a godly relationship with the Lord as we journey heavenward. It was published in November 2009 by Innovo Publishing. This book is a recipient of San Diego Christian Writers Guild Writing Award for Non-Fiction category, 2010.Tess' second book, God Shines: Poetry From the Heart, is a collection of scriptural readings and poetic prayers for faith, hope, love, mercy, and grace. This book conveys God's message to guide you, encourage you, and inspire you in your understanding of His promises and allow you to experience a fresh encounter with Him.Her educational background plus her work experience as an accountant and auditor gave her an interest in helping people with their financial problems, which later became her passion as a financial advisor. Driven by this passion for helping people, she was inspired to organize the San Diego Premier Lions Club, a humanitarian organization. What she envisions for the club is seen in the acronym PREMIER: a Person who Respects an Excellent Mentor with Innovative Empowered Responsibilities.Tess' compassion for people has become her passion for Jesus Christ.
