At first I only thought of focusing on sustainability and environmental poems, mainly because my mind is usually occupied by sustainability issues; why do they exist? What is the easiest way to make people understand? Who should be involved? How should anyone be involved? how do we solve them collectively? Being knowledgeable and passionate about sustainable development and environmental management has been both a blessing and a curse for me. A blessing because I have come to understand many of the issues especially how the social, politics, economics and environment are inseparable, and a curse because I do not have the opportunities or the power I need to be able to make a real difference and therefore it makes me frustrated. Anyway.... along the way I got distracted by political issues which are currently happening around the world but most specifically in Tanzania. It became impossible to separate sustainability, environmental management and the politics. Instead of giving in to frustration, I decided to follow through knowing that everything happens for a reason. I wanted to share the reality of my journey with you therefore I ended up producing two books instead of one as planned. Book two focuses on the journey towards sustainability 'Politricks and Polipricks'.

Autorenporträt
I am a global citizen, born on 2nd January 1973. During my 46 years of age I have lived in Africa, Asia and Europe. I love culture and I appreciate how the different varieties have contributed to my growth. I believe in God as the supreme soul with all religions being a valid path towards the final destination after the end of our lives. I enjoy learning and sharing knowledge about sustainable development with all age groups. 19 years of learning sustainable development still does not make me an expert because there is a lot more to learn, but I am truly enjoying the journey. My main hope is that the principles of fairness and justice would be incorporated while top down decisions are being made about sustainable development. The time for looking at national interest first has passed. We are facing global challenges and it is important to empower every nation and every individual so that they can be able to contribute in the fight towards achieving sustainable development. Otherwise there might come a time when we need help from those whom we manage to disempower and they might not be able or willing to assist. Alternatively empowering one another builds a sisterhood / brotherhood. That is what the world needs to survive as a global community and in order to be able to fight any (climate change) disasters which may come our way.
