Fredrick Sontag has well known academic credentials. His special fields include: metaphysics, philosophy of religion, existentialism, philosophical theology and philosophical psychology. He has taught at Yale, Union Seminary in New York, St. Anselmo in Rome, Italy, the University of Copenhagen, and Pomona College. He is a noted scholar in philosophy.
