Pat Spell Blackwell is called and committed to connect people to Jesus and to a life of righteousness, peace, and joy. Educated, trained, experienced, and ordained, she practices her faith every day, is motivated by love, and lives in hope. She has endured struggles enough to have authentic faith and has experienced victories enough to daily celebrate the goodness of God.An ordained minister since 2000, Pat earned master's degrees in Guidance and Counseling and in Theology and received her doctorate in Christian Counseling. She has served her church and her community in a variety of ministry settings including home groups, single moms, crisis pregnancy center, deaf ministry, and youth, as well as hospital chaplain and private practice Christian counseling.She and her husband Elwood reared six daughters and have seven granddaughters. Following Elwood's death in 2020, Pat moved from her hometown in Central Florida to Spokane Washington, where she is writing and availing herself to whatever God has for this new season and is attempting to un-spoil a very precocious six-pound poodle name Ziva David.
