A West Virginia native, Brent Jones now resides in Moneta, Virginia, along the shores of Smith Mountain Lake. He began writing as a by-product of his various occupations over the years. Eventually recruited by a friend, he began, simply as a hobby, writing and relating humorous stories, poems, and song lyrics on a local radio morning show. After more than twenty years of comedy, he decided to try his hand at something more serious. Always a Western enthusiast, he began with a few cowboy songs and now, at the age of seventy, he has written his first novel, A Legend Untold.
