Having to face your fears every day surely is no easy feat. Unlike the heroic protagonist of a fantasy epos though, Travis does not battle ferocious dragons or face world-ending threats. The terror of having to handle the impacts of social anxiety is more than enough to him, even if those unseen battles aren't really something he can openly pride himself with. Even if he would in fact prefer being the brave hero that gets to save the world, Travis is more or less satisfied with his life. But just how much can he let his fears get the better of him before peaceful solitude turns into devastating loneliness? This is a character-focused story with an overarching mental health theme, intended to resonate with and support those that struggle with social anxiety, as well as create awareness and understanding for those that don't.
