Mary attended the University of Southern Mississippi obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Therapy focusing on providing programs for mentally retarded and developmentally disabled children and adults. Mary later joined the U.S. Army and currently resides in Colorado serving at the church she attends as a licensed minister, and is employed as a nurse. Mary is the mother of two sons and one daughter.
