His mother had to bring him and his siblings to work with her at the bar because she could not afford a babysitter. He grew up fast-too fast-becoming an alcoholic at the age of thirteen. He saw things no child should ever see and did things as a child no adult should ever do. While the beginning of his life was hard, God never left his side. He helped Kehl find his way forward and gave him an incredible future full of love and family. A Life Worth Living is Kehl's biography. In these pages, he shares his dark past, his wonderful present, and his limitless future. Kenneth R. Kehl is now retired after a career as a successful insurance broker. He has been happily married for sixty-two years and has three children, twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He continues to encourage prisoners in the So. California area with his message of hope.
