Lindsay Fernandez is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Grief Educator, & Certified Grief Movement Guide passionate about Mental Health and changing how we as a society look at grief. She is the founder of Life After Loss, LLC, which is dedicated to normalizing uncomfortable conversations about death and grief. Lindsay has spent the past eight years offering 1:1 and group supportive counseling services to individuals affected by the loss of a loved one, Dementia-related illnesses, Cancer, Parkinson's disease & COVID-19. She is the author of A Lifetime With Death, which documents her childhood of navigating life with her mom, who suffered from both physical and mental illnesses, and her grief experience after losing her unexpectedly in 2011. By telling her story, she hopes to change the narrative around grief and empower grievers to learn how to own and understand their own grief experiences.
