The main goal of this book is to convey the necessary knowledge for the design of OCR systems. This knowledge forms a backbone for further research in this area. This book also provides an opportunity for the students to take an insight of designing an OCR system. This book introduced a ligature based OCR system for converting typed Nastalique Urdu script image file into digitally editable text files. An effort has been made to use a very simple language, and images are provided for better understanding of results.
Autorenporträt
Received B. Tech. and M. Tech. degree in Computer Engineering from AMU, Aligarh, India in 2010 and 2013, respectively. He has worked as contractual faculty in the Department of Computer Engineering, AMU, Aligarh. He is currently doing Ph.D. at AMU. His area of research is image processing, mobile ad hoc networks, and wireless sensor networks.
