Laurie Cook is from a small rural town in Saskatchewan, Canada. After a thirty year career in the financial sector, Laurie decided to try her hand at writing the type of books she loves to read. It has been such an enjoyable experience that she continues to write. Laurie grew up with many pets and horses and likes to add these elements to her stories. Always a creative person, she finds writing another outlet, like the needlework and hand crafts that she is constantly developing.
