The book is an attempt to unravel and understand the underlying meanings of the texts Mother of 1084 and Rudali, by studying the linguistic aspects of Mahasweta Devi's writings. It deals with the introduction of the author and a brief discussion on the novels taken for the study, further with the linguistic analysis , followed by the stylistic analysis of Mother of 1084 and Rudali. The conclusion discusses how language plays an important role to show resistance towards the patriarchy/power which is corrupt.
