Meditations and poems for fellow seekers, trekkers, and wanderers, and those desperate for a glimpse, a moment, an encounter with the living God. A fellow traveler reflects on life lessons, steps of faith, and experiences through prose and poetry. Poems on faith and the glories of God's creations are introduced by relevant vignettes about down-to-earth topics such as growing up in the inland Northwest, ranch families, fellow workers, open-hearted rural churches, elk hunting, log cabin building, huckleberry picking and bears, rural characters, and justice. These delightful, often humorous meditations on finding God in the everyday give us a taste of the outdoors, the wonder of creation, and the majesty of God in fresh, compelling language.
